MANİSA ÜMMEHAN ELGİNKAN VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTRE
Having gone into service in 1994, our Training Centre continues its activities intensively under three major topics in line with the purposes of our Foundation.
Being the first of Elginkan Foundation Vocational and Technical Training Centres, Ümmehan Elginkan Vocational and Technical Training Centre's opening ceremony was performed in December 9 1994 with the participation of the Minister of Environment, Mr. Rıza AKÇALI.
From 9 December 1994, in which it went into service, to Aug 31 2015,
5.226 people attended VOCATIONAL COURSES,
47.584 people attended DEVELOPMENT AND ADAPTATION COURSES,
157.555 people attended TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT SEMINARS,
A TOTAL OF: 210.365 people attended trainings.
Centre is composed of a total closed area of 4.852 m² on an open area of 25.500 m².
Composed of A, B and C Blocks, the area covers basement, ground floor and the first floor. In B Block, there are 3 Computers, Hydraulic - Pneumatic Industrial Automation, Heating Technologies, Electric and Electronic, Mechanical Maintenance and Measurement Control, Home Appliances, Plumbing and Armature, First Aid Laboratories, Technical Drawing Hall, Welding Workshop, Pattern Workshop, Training Hall (5), Health Room and Dining Hall. In A and C Blocks, there are sections such as administrative offices, Conference Hall, Library, Cantina & Cafeteria and archive.
We work in cooperation with lecturers of Celal Bayar University, Ege University and Dokuz Eylül University, along with the Ministry of National Education - Educational Institutions, TAF, National Productivity Centre and experts in various Training-Consulting companies in providing trainings.
No participation fee is collected from persons and organizations receiving training in our Training Centre, and lunch is provided by our Training Centre in seminars that continue the whole day.
